Let's see, I also bought a very cool thing called a "Utility Lighter." You know, one of those things that you can light a candle with that is way too far down in the candle holder for your hand to fit in. I didn't really buy it for candles though. I bought it so that I wouldn't catch my face on fire when I light my camp stove. The gas is a bit irregular so sometimes it won't light at all and sometimes it creates a fireball in my kitchen. Lately I've taken to throwing lit matches at my stove, which is highly ineffective, as you can imagine, so I'm pretty excited about the utility lighter-thingy.
Then there is the traditional massive bag of candy. It isn't for me but for the people who will inevitably ask me, "Where is my gift?" And then I'll get to run back in the kitchen and come out and say, "Here, I brought this handful of candy all the way from America just for you." It really isn't for me, really (those of you who know me are thinking to yourself, "Yeah right, I'm sure she has a handful of gummy bears in her hand right now."). My mom also bought Mac and Cheese for me to take to Junior. Junior helps us around the house in Liberia and he LOVES Mac and Cheese out of the blue box. So because he is SO good to us, he gets Mac and Cheese from Mamma.
Ok so there are also the more common random stuff that I'm looking at right now and wondering how it will all fit in... hair conditioner, batteries, brand new and stinkin' awesome hot pink head lamp, more candy (this time for me, I'll own it this time), umbrellas (cause it is rainy season), sunscreen, and dresses...lots of pretty ones...the usual stuff really. I'm excited. I'm going again. yea!
